The BC PNP started with new immigration system called Skilled Immigration Registration System (SIRS) in January 2016 also (widely knows as BC PNP). SIRS is an intake management system that allows British Columbia to select candidates for Provincial Nomination according to scores. SIRS is conducted by British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). As it is point based system applicant receive scores based on the information provided while making their online profile (same as an express entry), after that they enter in the pool along with other candidates. BC PNP performs draws periodically and candidates get the invitation to apply for Province Nomination through different streams of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The BC Provincial Nominee Program offers three ways to become a permanent resident in B.C. Each pathway contains different categories you can apply under, depending on your National Occupational Classification skill level, job, or international student status.
